Old Fort

Also known as the Arab fort and by other names is a fortification located in stone town, the capital of Zanzibar, it’s the oldest building and a major visitor attraction of stone town, its located on the main seafront, adjacent to another land mark building of the city, the house of wonder former palace of the sultan of Zanzibar and facing the Forodhan gardens.



Bagamoyo

Is a gaining ground as a popular alternate to Zanzibar (beautiful beaches and historical sites)without the large number of visitors, Bagamoyo used to be one of the most important port in East Africa ,It was a leading port for the ivory and slave trade, there are around Bagamoyo features a number of ancient buildings some dating back more than 800 years

These days is known as the art capital of Tanzania, it boasts an annual art festival from the end of September into early October. There are an increasing number of good beaches resorts to choose from.
